Healing and shielding support units are specifically designed to break the fundamental mathematical rules of the game’s combat system.
This is exactly what the opponent wants; while you struggle to kill the Giant, the Healer is constantly undoing all your hard work.
The Golden Rule: Kill the Support First
The cardinal rule when facing a healing or shielding composition is to completely ignore the primary tank until the support is dead.
Alternatively, a perfectly timed heavy spell like a Fireball or Poison can instantly vaporize the support units while simultaneously damaging the tank.
- Use it to physically pull the healer away from the tank she is trying to heal.
- A Valkyrie is great, but a heavy spell is usually more reliable against a dedicated healer.
- Healing pushes are usually incredibly expensive (12+ elixir).
Dealing with Clone and Rage Synergy
Healing units are often paired with incredibly gimmicky, high-risk spells like Clone or Rage to create an overwhelming, chaotic push.
The definitive counter to any Clone strategy is a cheap, instant-cast splash spell like the Log, Zap, or Snowball.
| Threat Level | Healing Method | How to Stop It |
|---|---|---|
| Aura Healer | Heals herself and surrounding units every time she successfully lands a melee attack | Use flying units she cannot hit, or drop a high-DPS unit directly on her head to kill her before she swings |
| The Shield Buff (e.g. If you have any inquiries with regards to the place and how to use tower rush, you can call us at the page. , Heal Spirit) | Jumps onto a group of units, providing a massive, instant burst of healing | Place a cheap distraction unit (like skeletons) in its path to force it to trigger early, wasting the heal entirely |
